New appointment deepens BoomData’s capabilities in cloud data platform modernisation & driving value from business data
BoomData, a leading Australian consultancy in data management and analytics, today announced that it has further strengthened its data platform modernisation capabilities with the appointment of Ben Mills as Principal Consultant in its rapidly growing team.
This strategic hire underscores BoomData’s commitment to helping mid-to-large enterprises unlock the full potential of their data. As demand grows for data and analytics initiatives that demonstrate measurable business outcomes, Mills will play a pivotal role in bridging the gap between business processes, strategy and technical design and delivery for BoomData clients.
With more than 15 years’ experience leading strategic data management, Business Intelligence (BI) and analytics functions, Mills brings deep expertise in cloud data platform modernisation, data migration, data visualisation and analytics and AI initiatives across complex enterprise environments. He previously held senior roles as Head of Insights, Data & Analytics at Techtronic Industries and as Co-Founder and Principal Consultant for Melbourne-based data and analytics consultancy, AtoBI.
At BoomData, Mills will play a key role in guiding clients through data modernisation journeys, instrumental in growing BoomData’s Snowflake capabilities, while also leading initiatives spanning Databricks, Microsoft Fabric, Azure, Power BI and AI-enabled data ecosystems.
